That's Not Right review

5 stars
A humorous look at supernatural investigations. Would make a good TV series.

The Book of Ayn review

4 stars
Brings up some interesting points about Ayn's life but just kind of ends like it needed to be handed before the author could come up with an ending.

Anima Rising review

5 stars
A humorous addition to the tale of Frankenstein and his bride, who met many historical figures. The story is told mainly by the bride as she regains her memory after recovering from having died a fourth time.
The afterword explains which bits are history and which are fiction. A surprising amount is based on true events and real people.

Homo Deus: A History of Tomorrow review

5 stars
Another great read with good insights. Needs an update or sequel, though, as a lot of the "coming things" have already happened, as this book was written before Covid, Chat GPT, and Trump 2.0.

Boundless Skies review

5 stars
Most of the stories are what you would expect if you have read any of his other books. Just shorter. The last two have more of a Scooby-Doo feel. Not bad, just a different feel.

Twelve Months (The Dresden Files, #18) review

5 stars
Another chapter in the great series, maybe a bit sadder than most, as it details the 12 months following the last book's tragic end. Eagerly awaiting the next.

The Torah review

4 stars
Very repetitive to the point of being hard to get through but seems more detailed than the old testament.

In Plain Sight review

4.27
A great overview of UAPs from the 40s to 2023 in a fairly even handed way. If you are wanting to know what all the fuss is about without having to deep dive, this is the book for you. Even those well versed might pick up some interesting bits they missed.

The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ review

5 stars
I must say, it was a lot easier to read than the Torah, Quran, or Bible. A lot less repetitive and more up-to-date language. It sounds more like a history text than a religious text. If the history were set in the Middle East instead of America, then it would be very believable. So much so, you have to wonder if maybe they got the location wrong. But then that might make sense, whether it was written or translated in the 1800s by someone familiar with the Bible.

The Hidden Language of Cats: How They Have Us at Meow review

5 stars
This book will probably confirm what most cat "owners" already suspect about their cat's abilities to communicate. But you will discover why cats act as they do and hear about similarities and differences with other communicative critters.
